Structural design of plastic construction elements

Plastics (thermoplastics and duroplastics) are viscoelastic materials. The material properties are time, temperature and medium dependent. Additionally imperfections must be considered for duroplastics (GRP). Long term (extrapolated up to 50 years) and short term material properties must be taken in consideration for the structural design.
