Structural design with the help of numerical methods - Finite Element Analysis

For geometrically challenging constructions (molded parts, corrugated manholes), especially when the interaction between soil and construction needs to be considered, an appropriate design can be made with a continuum model. An attending finite element analysis is recommended in the early stages of constructions development leading to a safe and economical design. In general, the material will be displaced so that the places in lower stress zones become thinner and in higher stress zones (edges, openings) become thicker.
